What Is Dysport?

Dysport is a muscle relaxant produced by Clostridium botulinum bacteria. To resolve facial wrinkles uses product Dysport, created on the basis of botulinum A toxin and hemagglutinin.

Important information about Dysport

Preparations based on botulinum toxin "turn off" active facial muscles, and the person ceases involuntarily wince, frown or squint. Face in this case, remains alive and movable

Indications for use

Dysport is the best method of correction of facial wrinkles in the forehead between the eyebrows, the nose, radial wrinkles in the external corners of eyes (so-called "crow's feet")

Warning!

You should not receive a preparation if you have:

• Inflammation at the proposed injection site
• A history of bronchitis, pneumonia and problems with your breathing
• Previous prolonged periods of muscle weakness
• A history of prolonged bleeding times
• Worsening or changes in your muscle spasms
• An allergy to any of the ingredients contained in Dysport that are listed at the end of this leaflet
• Difficulties in swallowing

In some cases Dysport may spread into the other parts different than area injection. You may also receive serious illness symptoms of so-called botulism!

What are possible side effects?

The most common side effects are:

• Generalised weakness
• swelling
• fatigue (exhaustion, lethargy, tiredness, and/or asthenia)
• reddening at injection site
• pain
• bruising
• flu-like' symptoms

Less commonly Dysport may cause itching.
